Interior

Here are displayed moose antler carvings made by the artist  to be used for interior design. The focus of these compositions is Wild life. All the scenes are the master's own creative design. Different techniques are applied: relief carving, cut carving, burning, etc

This is a composition depicting a sudden encounter of a huge bear and a boisterous and bold Laika (Russo-European Laika, a "barking" dog), one of the favourite hunting breeds with Russian hunters.     Это композиция изображает внезапную встречу огромного медведя и смелой лайки (русско-европейская лайка, «лающая» собака), одной из излюбленных охотничьих пород русских охотников.
This is a composition depicting a wild boar and laikas' encounter in the woods. The background of a landscape is carved into the moose antler and also some elements are painted. The figures of the animals are sculptured in wood and the boar's tusks are made of mammoth tusk. It is fixed onto a stand carved from wood, and can be used as a standing interior element.
This is another version of one of my favourite compositions the center of which is 2 mooses fighting. Cut carving technique allows to make the carving light and the atmosphere airy. Every version of this composition is not a simple repetition of the same subject but a new treatment of the scene and the material as every new moose antler dictates the forms and movements and carving lines and techniques to be applied.
The center of this composition carved on a moose antler is 2 mooses fighting. These beautiful huge animals are tenants of the Russian woods and are considered typically Russian animals.  Their size, strength and at the same time gracefulness make them the object of admiration and adoration.
This composition of a wood grouse and a dog (laika) carved on a moose antler is an example of mixed carving technique. The figure of the wood grouse stands out carved in the antler and the figure of the dog is an additional element, a sculpture carved in wood.
This composition of a wild boar against a forest background is carved into the moose antler. The feeling of the animal's movement is the focus. The trees and the roots are carefully worked at. Different tinges of brown make the animal and the background stand out, this effect is achieved by colouring and burning.
